Jessie Currie (1864-1919) was Archibald Curries fourth child. Jessie never married and looked after Archibald in his later years after the death of his wife Susan in 1897. She only outlived Archibald by three years as he died in 1916.
Jessie was a talented seamstress and made clothes for many family members. She is buried beside her brother Peter Hutcheson Currie in North Lismore cemetery.
This photograph is said to be of Catherine (Kitty), Jessie (CENTRE) and unknown (probably Elizabeth). I'm not sure why "Kitty" has short hair in this photo. Kitty married in 1889, Elizabeth died in 1892 so this photo is probably circa 1890.
